Leeds Castle’s famous Christmas market was in full flow last weekend creating the ideal opportunity to sample a great atmosphere and bag yourself an array of Christmas bargains at the same time.   Set in the extensive grounds with the famous castle as the backdrop you are truly in for a festive treat!

This wonderful event is has arrived again, and having enjoyed last year’s festive adventure through the forest so much,  I was eager to return this Christmas and walked into a world festooned with stunning light and festive cheer.

For a perfect autumnal afternoon why not head out for a brisk woodland walk through Hempstead Forest, all wrapped up against the chilly breeze, before heading home for a Sunday roast and a snooze.
