EDUCATIONALLY there is a wide choice of excellent schools in the area, from nurseries getting children off to a good start before moving onto Tenterden and St Michaels primary and junior schools and the well-known Homewood School. The town is also within the catchment for the Ashford Grammar Schools.

LONDON CALLING For anyone wishing to commute to London, rail services to London are at nearby Headcorn to Charing Cross and Cannon Street in around the hour.  Ashford International Station is about 10 miles from where Eurostar trains depart for the continent, as well as the regular high-speed service to Ebbsfleet, Stratford and London St Pancras a journey of about 37 minutes. Regular bus services run from the High Street to the surrounding towns and villages.

Surrounded by COUNTRYSIDE AND NATURE, there are endless woodland walks to be enjoyed in Tenterden and surrounding villages for dog walkers, afternoon strollers and ramblers alike to explore.   Public footpaths meander through the local woods and forests making ideal summer picnic spots or to just relax and take the flora and fauna throughout the seasons.
