A visit to the Fair ...

Once again, we were had been looking forward to our visit to the Wealden Times Midsummer Fair, hosted at Hole Park in Rolvenden –  a wonderful location for this annual event.

Met by a magnificent display of stalls offering an array of craft, home and garden items from talented local tradesmen together with a huge number of exhibitions and attractions.

We certainly won’t leave the Fair hungry, we were able to graze over a selection of the finest local foodie delights from sweet to savoury, there was something delectable from street food to gourmet classics.  

My particular choice was the curry lunch box with vegetable fritters washed down with a classic real ale – delicious !

Into the afternoon, we enjoyed listening to actor Tim Bentinck from The Archers and were able to relax to the Marlborough House Choir which were fantastic.
